Vata Vriksha is here today to cater to every child’s needs in a way, they would find comfortable. Just like how every root, every leaf is important for the growth and strength of the banyan tree here in Vata Vriksha each and every child plays an integral part in the development of the institution and the society. The child has all the freedom to explore and satisfy their curiosity through our medium of education. We want to let them play in a conscious state, aware of themselves and their surroundings to get maximum yield by the time they are ready to move on to primary schooling. Vata Vriskha is very big on the concept of learning through Nature in the form of play; games, art, sport, science, engineering, knowledge of the world, self-awareness, vocabulary, mathematics, social and emotional development and much more all through ‘Nature and Play.’ We are a child centric system rather than a teacher centric system. We believe that children below the age of 6 are punished if they are made to sit in a four walled classroom without having a choice of movement, speech or exploration. We at Vata Vriksha encourage imagination, messy play, hands on activities, storytelling, role play and self-discovery.
